    ATTENTION

AIT Announcement: Learning Management System (Blackboard) Login Change

    Tuesday, June 12th 2018

    What:

Academic IT will be upgrading the login interface of Blackboard at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS) to the latest version of single sign-on login tehnology.

    Why:

In order to benefit from improved security and achieve consistency throughout all ISMMS web applications, the login interface must be updated.

    When:

    Tuesday, June 12th, 2018 at 12:00 PM.

    Impact:

Effective June 12th all users must login with their full school email address, instead of their Network ID.

    - For students, this is firstname.lastname@icahn.mssm.edu

    - For users with more than one email address, please first try to use the @mssm.edu address (firstname.lastname@mssm.edu)

    - Additionally, you may use mssmcampus\network ID as an alternative

If you have any questions or concerns about this upgrade, please contact the Academic IT Support Center at ASCIT@mssm.edu or 1-212-241-7091.

  • Regular system maintenance and scheduled server restarts will be scheduled for early Thursday mornings between 1:00AM and 4:00AM. (Thursday, June 30, 2016)

Because the Learning Management System is externally hosted and managed by Blackboard, this scheduled maintenance will not have an effect on most users. There could, however, occasionally be brief outages during these times for some users; please plan your work accordingly.

If you have any questions, please contact the Academic IT Support Center at ascit@mssm.edu or 1-212-241-7091.

  • Attention MARC Users (Wednesday, February 5, 2014)

Those using the Safari web browser may notice an error while accessing My Access and Resource Center (MARC). To access MARC, users may use Chrome or Firefox as an alternative.
